About eboat360.com

We are a team passionate for nautical sports. We were born in 2003 in São Paulo, Brazil, at the Guarapiranga dam. During that period, there were already several classified ad websites; however, the largest ones belonged to sailing schools and to brokers, and we noticed there wasn’t any website totally focused on nautical trades, where buyers could find the sellers and a wide variety of offers. This is how we found our market!

After the launch, eboat became well known in a short period, quickly standing among the most visited websites of the field on the internet. Our goal has been providing a space of purchase and sale of nautical products for nautical lovers. It’s a free and democratic space, exclusive for nautical purposes.

In 2005, we expanded to the Business Guide, and the idea was to ensure that the owner of a boat, or a person who wants to buy a boat, would have easy access to data from other companies. In this way, our customers would know the availability of services in the nautical area, manufacturers of products, stores and courses right away, all at once.

In 2006, we created the boat technical sheets, or as we now call the "Boat Directory", to help the buyer choosing a boat by providing basic information about size, weight (among others), and a photo or drawing of the boat. With this tool, the buyer can compare models and it works pretty well in decision make.

In 2009, we launched the secondhand boat pricelist, a system that updates the price based on the announcements published on eboat and other classifieds. The idea is to help the seller setting a fair selling price and to provide the buyer with a reference value.

In 2011, we started the list of new boats. A catalogue with the price given in specialized magazines or that is provided directly by the yard. With this tool, the buyer can compare the average price of a used boat to a new boat, which is very useful as a reference. We warn that the values are without equipment and accessories and that many manufacturers offer several options of motorization, which turns the price very variable.

All tools we have developed are designed to help sellers and buyers with valuable and helpful information when it comes to selling or buying your boat.

We wish all visitors of eboat a "good luck with your business". After all, this is why we exist.

Thank you and see you soon!

The definition of eboat

Eboat is also known as Schnellboot or S-boot. Created in 1932 by the German navy, the English army named it eboat, for being a boat of rapid attack. It weighed around 100 tons and was 32 meters long, using 3 Mercedes engines of 20 cylinders in Diesel and had a total of 3,960 hp. It could navigate at speed of 43.8 Knots.

By the end of the war the English Navy, who currently still have 2 of them boats intact, confiscated these boats: one in Wilhelmshaven Germany and the other in Southdown England. See the full article on Wikipedia.

Current setting

The boat is powered by "electric" propulsion. Currently, there are several European and American manufacturers producing boats with electric motors, or Hybrids. Based on the same concept of electric cars, these boats are an excellent solution to the issue of transportation by using clean energy platforms. In Brazil, this technology is arriving timidly, although every day we keep looking for having more options of electric propulsion. Stay tuned!
